The team of Eride (www.eride.africa) is looking for 2–3 part-time working students for a pilot project on electric motorcycles, solar charging, and battery assembly in Lusaka, Zambia from June onwards. While it will not be hard to find staff for their Zambian office in Lusaka, the candidates should ideally already have connections to Switzerland and/or ETH Zurich, and are interested in renewable energy, looking for a part-time student job in Zurich, and when returning to Zambia. Are you interested in becoming a researcher in AI or ML to assist with their proposed topic of increasing trust in African software developers via real-time ML-based methods ?
The goal of the research is to understand the feasibility of an AI tool that can build verifiable and unbiased profiles of software developers, which can be used to better match them with Swiss clients.

This program is designed in collaboration between ETH Zurich in Switzerland, Ashesi University in Ghana and industry partners, all of whom are operationally present in Africa, to ensure that the programme addresses regional market needs. The courses are taught at Ashesi University by faculty from Ashesi and ETH Zurich. As a graduate of this program, you will be equipped with specialist competences and wide range of skills to pursue a career in this dynamic field.
